A Run for Those Who Can't
  Date:  Tuesday, February 03, 2009

On January 11, 2009, Jason DeBono, Director of Business Development, participated in the 16th Annual Walt Disney World Marathon. He started the race at Epcot on a beautiful 50 degree Sunday at 5:50 am, along with more than 22,000 participants. Over 45,000 runners competed in events throughout the Disney Marathon weekend. After a grueling trek through Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios the foot race came back to end at Epcot.

Not only did Jason run to achieve a personal goal, he ran on behalf of the “Wheelchair Angel Program”, a charity near and dear to our office. The program is a donor referral program that provides hope, mobility and freedom to the physically disabled worldwide by delivering a wheelchair to those in need. Jason collected $2500 in donations which will help purchase 33 wheelchairs, providing independence and improving the life of each recipient.

Even though finishing this endurance test of 26.2 miles and many hours was challenging, Jason says he is considering doing it all again next year. He thanks all of his sponsors, for their support of this worthwhile cause will bring new possibilities to many lives. All of us here at Entrust Administration Services, Inc., that work along side of him daily, applaud Jason for achieving such an outstanding goal; he is a true champion to us.
